Herrera School Buses and Coaches has been a family name in Albuquerque transportation since 1930 — starting with three buses and growing into a trusted fleet, without ever leaving the family.
It all started in 1930, when Samuel Herrera founded the business with three buses. Alongside his wife Tomasita, he built the foundation that our family still stands on today.
When Samuel passed away, his son Jose Felipe "Philip" Herrera took the wheel, growing the business alongside his wife Clorinda. Felipe passed away in 1990, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.
Since 1990, the business has been run by the next generations of Herreras — brothers, sisters, carrying the family torch. What began with three buses in 1930 is now a full fleet, still guided by the same family values.
Four generations of the Herrera family have kept this business running — safely, personally, and without ever losing the family touch.
